Jessicca Rodgers brings a young, new perspective to the board. She is hard-working, professional, passionate and dedicated to her community.

Jessicca grew up in Placerville and spent her childhood playing basketball and soccer almost every weekend. She attended high school at Union Mine High School and graduated in 2009. After high school, Jessicca attended Folsom Lake College’s El Dorado Center to earn her Associates Degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences and continued to get her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science at UC Davis.

Jessicca, her husband Thomas, and their son Owen currently reside in Pollock Pines. They spend their free time going 4-wheeling, spending time with family and bowling (you'll find Jessicca at Knotty Pines most Friday's bowling on a league). In fact, Thomas and Jessicca met at Knotty Pine Lanes in Pollock Pines when Jessicca was working there in high school; they have been together ever since.

Jessicca currently works for an El Dorado Hills based organization called School Innovations & Achievement, serving as National Sales Director. Jessicca is a an expert in K-12 student attendance and has been working alongside many other organizations to combat the nation's chronic attendance crisis. She frequently presents in front of other school boards, hosts webinars and presents at education conferences about this issue and best practices.

The El Dorado Union High School District school board appointed Jessicca to the board in May of 2019 to fill a vacancy. She ran unopposed in 2020. Jessicca is very passionate about the students of El Dorado County. She is dedicated to ensuring our schools are meeting the needs of our students and preparing them for life after high school.
